Harvey’s Hummus Dip




2 15 oz. cans of chick peas, rinsed
1 tbsp. olive oil
2-3 tbsp. sesame tahini sauce
1/2 tsp. cumin
1/2 tsp. dill
1-3 garlic cloves
juice of 1 or 2 lemons
1-2 tbsp. water


In a food processor, add rinsed chick peas, olive oil, cumin, dill, tahini sauce, water, garlic and lemon juice. Start processor for 30 seconds, blending thoroughly. Adjust above spice amounts to your preference. Other ideas to add are sundried tomatoes and roasted red peppers. Thanks to Harvey in the Poconos for this recipe.
